Alderney GTA 4 Missions

  • TRESPASS
Head to Phil’s icon at his office to start this mission.

Drive Phil over to the Sprunk factory and listen to Phil’s instructions. He gives two options for approaching the mission. The easier option is via the tunnel, but before you head down to the tunnel…

Flying Rat #166
Take out the pidgeon opposite the Sprunk bottle cutout billboard on top of an electrical box on the west side of the street.

Go around to the left as you approach the factory, over the wall and left again into the tunnel. There’s a hole in the tunnel wall on the left by the electricity generator, go through the hole and up into the factory. Take out the first two goons then briefly head through the door at the bottom of the stairs. Take out the guy outside then go back inside and work your way up the stairs carefully taking out the numerous goons on the next level. When you’ve cleared this level Charlie will retreat.

Carefully go up up to the next level using the fallen ceiling as a ramp. Take out the goons scattered around this level. If you need more health there’s a first aid kit on the wall just before you reach the back room.

Take out the gunmen in the back room then drop through the window Charlie fled through and run for cover to the nearby ventilator duct. Take out yet more men here then pick off the guys shooting from the roof above you to the left, the smokestack up high behind you and to your right below you.

When the coast is clear head across the covered walkway and back across the next covered walkway a little further on to the ladder on the wall. Climb the ladder and take down the few guys scattered around the smokestacks, then climb the second ladder to the roof.

After the cutscene you must take down the helicopter before Charlie can escape. If you have any rockets use one to take it down quickly, otherwise you’ll have to use machinegun fire. Once the helicopter goes down you’ve completed the mission.

All you have to do know is find your way out of the factory. If you go back the way you came up to the covered walkways there’s a roof you can use to jump down to ground level.

  • TO LIVE AND DIE IN ALDERNEY
Start this mission from Phil’s icon at the truck depot.

After the cutscene get in the nearby car and drive Phil to the marker. After the second cutscene get in the remaining car and quickly follow Phil as he tears out onto the street with a fed car closely behind him. Help Frankie driveby shoot the fed car so Phil stands a better chance of making through the long car chase ahead.

Try to keep up with Phil as he desperately tries to lose the cops. One of the last places he drives is into a warehouse complex. Driving around here is particularly tricky, but you could just stop on the street outside the warehouse and wait for Phil’s call to ditch the cars, then continue on to the next marker.

Once you’ve dropped the cars in the alleyway follow Phil then take out the numerous cops and N.O.O.S.E agents blocking your path.

When you’ve cleared the area follow the others and get in the escape van. At this point you’ll have a three-star wanted level and a helicopter following you. If you have any rockets step out of the van and shoot down the helicopter. If the helicopter goes down your wanted level will reduce to two stars, making your escape much easier.

Now lose your wanted level and head back to the safehouse to finish the mission.

  • SHE’S A KEEPER
Go to the hideout marker and through the back door to the alleyway.

Drive Gracie to the new hideout where Packie will take care of her.

  • FLATLINE
Head up to Jimmy’s mansion, watch the opening cut scene then get in the nearby car.

Head to the marker and put any weapons you’re holding away before entering the hospital. Bear right to the ER reception then go right into the locker room and step into the marker there to change into doctors’ uniform.

Walk to the end of the corridor and turn left by the cop guards to Anthony’s room. Walk up to the life support machine and follow the instructions to turn it off, then immediately sprint around the corridors and out to your car.

If you’re quick enough you’ll make it past the first two guards before they realise what has happened. The other guards you’ll just have to hope will miss a few times as you sprint past them. You could shoot every cop, but this will raise your wanted level making your final escape harder.

Once you’re back in your car drive off and lose your wanted level to complete the mission.

  • DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND
Go see Gerry in prison then take a cab to Packie.

Drive Packie and Gracie to the marker, then after the cut scene take out the numerous goons around the water treatment plant. Try to keep behind cover as there are so many enemies that you’ll quickly get shot down if you don’t. Follow Packie after you clear each area.

There’s a body armour pick up near the bottom of the stairs and a health pick up halfway along the walkway at the top.

Work your way around the walkway clearing out all enemies until you finally get to the last man hiding. Take this guy out then go down the nearby ladder and across the road to get one of the vehicles.

Flying Rat #167
Just across the street as you leave the water treatment plant is a parking lot with a couple of big billboards advertising cars. There’s a pidgeon on the ground on the southern end of the parking lot.

Now drive Packie back to his ma’s house to finish the mission.

  • PEST CONTROL
Go to Jimmy’s place, watch the cut scene then get in the car outside.

Flying Rat #168
While you wait for Jimmy’s decision head north to Big Horn Drive where the road curves south on the western end. There’s a pidgeon to shoot on a fencepost surrounding the large swimming pool behind the even larger mansion.

After Jimmy calls drive to the marker. After the brief cut scene tail the cars to the gas station then blow up the station by sniping the gas pumps from a safe distance.

The ensuing fireball should take out all targets, but if not give chase and driveby shoot the car.

  • ENTOURAGE
Go to the ‘G’ icon in Schottler to start this first mission for John Gravelli. Drive to the first marker then step into the blue marker. Wait for Bobby Jefferson to get in your car then follow the car ahead. After a while the convoy will halt at a road block and you’ll be ambushed by Russians.

After the cut scene take out the enemies all around your alleyway. Be careful of the shooters on the roof as well as at street level.

Once all enemies are taken down go pick up Bobby from the alleyway and get him back to a car. Drive to the final marker to finish the mission. You’ll have several cars on your tail within seconds of driving away, but they are easy to lose once you hit the open roads and get some speed up.

  • DINING OUT
Head back to John at the hospital then get a cab to the marker.

Flying Rats #169-170
Before entering Mr Fuk’s restaurant take out the pidgeon on the second floor balcony to the north. There is also another pidgeon just across the street on the first floor, northeast corner ledge of a gray office building.go into Mr Fuk’s and speak to the man inside. Go right and take out the men at the top of the stairs. Go up the stairs then take out the next wave of men on the way to the marker.

Grab the body armour on the managers’ desk then point a gun at him to reveal Kim’s location. Leave the office then work your way to the next marker in the kitchen, taking out the goons along the way. There’s a first aid kit in the kitchen if you need it.

Follow Kim out from the kitchen and down the ladder. If you don’t get a chance to shoot Kim before he gets to the car grab the nearby NRG 900 bike and take down the car with driveby fire.

Now that you have an NRG 900 take the opportunity to do a few stunt jumps. There are a few to do here, so if you lose the bike for any reason go to Westdyke Autos in northeast Alderney, on the corner of Sacramento Avenue and Lehmi Street and steal another one. You’ll get a one-star wanted level, but that’s easily lost on this superbike.

Unique Stunt Jump #25
This jump starts from the AutoErotica parking lot on the corner of Lockowski and Keneckie Avenue. From here tear west then turn along the dirt track beside Plumbers Skyway to hit the ramp to the southwest. Press forward to lean forward on the bike to gain extra speed as you approach the ramp. If you land near the far wall of the highway or further you’ll successfully complete this jump.

Unique Stunt Jump #26
Take the next exit off the Skyway then back north to the next jump near the corner of Aspdin Drive and Vitullo Avenue. There’s a ramp pointing north over Plumbers Skyway where Aspdin Drive turns east towards Vitullo Avenue. Start your run up from the Life Dry cleaners building and you should land near the wall of the southbound traffic lane to complete this jump.

  • RANDOM CHARACTER: EDDIE LOW – SECOND ENCOUNTER
If you’re near the Plumbers Skyway area between the hours of 10pm and 4am you may have noticed a friend icon near the corner of Aspdin Drive and Cockerell Avenue. Approach Eddie with a weapon drawn, it’s gonna turn ugly very soon.

After the last of Eddie’s quality dialogue run back to a safe distance then shoot him.

We’ll miss your extreme creepyness Eddie.

Flying Rat #171
Go west to the corner of Kemeny Street and Aspdin Drive. A little to the north past the Plumbers Skyway intersection there’s a row of similar-looking houses on the east side of the street. There’s a pidgeon in the basement of the second house to the north.

Unique Stunt Jump #27
This jump is in an alley off of Bedrock Street, but before you start…

Flying Rat #172
Shoot the pidgeon next to the ramp.

Start your run up north of the ramp from the wall of the building on Bedrock Street and lean forward for extra speed.

You’ll complete the jump if you clear the Vitullo intersection and land in Koresh Square.

Unique Stunt Jump #28
This jump is a flight of stairs a little to the east of the last, halfway along Koresh Avenue on the north side. Start your run up from the wall of the building to the south. You should complete this jump if you land at the end of the alleyway or on Johnstown Avenue.

  • RANDOM CHARACTER: CLARENCE
If you spared Clarence’s life way back in ‘Holland Nights’ go northeast over to the friend icon near Dwayne’s place near the corner of Vauxite and Astoria. Approach Clarence, listen to his ungrateful attitude, shoot him. Nuff said.

Unique Stunt Jump #29
Start from Westdyke Autos on the corner of Sacramento Avenue and Lehmi Street, so if you’ve lost your bike at this point here’s a perfect opportunity to steal another. Ride south past Franklin Street into the alleyway and hit the dirt ramp at full speed. You’ll soar way past the freeway (the minimum distance for completion) into Mehesh Avenue.

Unique Stunt Jump #30
Start from the corner of Rand Avenue and Applewhite Street. Ride southwest to the dumpster ramp and land on Rael Avenue.

Flying Rat #173
Head to the road bridge on Applewhite Street crossing over Mahesh Avenue by your safehouse. There’s a pidgeon on the wall on the northwest side of the bridge, opposite a hotdog vendor.

Unique Stunt Jump #31
Start just south of the bridge. Back up to the fence across the street then tear southeast to the sand ramp. Land on Rand Avenue to complete the jump.

Unique Stunt Jump #32
The next jump can easily lose your bike in the river, so park up and save your game at the nearby safehouse.

Ride east along Mahesh Avenue and cross Rand Avenue down the sidestreet to the waterfront. Turn right into the tunnel and stop about halfway along by the two boxes on the left. Start your run up from here to hit the ramp at the end of the tunnel to land on the helipad to the south. Slam on the brakes as soon as you land to avoid shooting off the other side of the pad into the river.

Unique Stunt Jump #33
The final jump for now is to the east at the far eastern point of Mahesh Avenue on the shoreline. Start your run up way back on Mehesh Avenue where it turns east to get maximum speed up in order to clear the river.

  • RANDOM CHARACTER: MARNIE – SECOND ENCOUNTER
Approach Marnie on the corner of Ivy Drive South and Quartz Street. Listen to her sob story then drive her to the station. Heartless? Blame the game!

  • LIQUIDIZE THE ASSETS
Go back to John at the Schottler medical clinic to start the mission. Get a cab to the marker, jump over the wooden fence to the right of the main gate then run over to the building where the beams go across the courtyard. Climb the ladder on the corner of this building then walk across the top of the wall by the street along to the air ducts on the side of the wall ahead. Climb these air ducts to get to the roof, then go across this roof to climb another ladder to the highest roof where the gunman is posted.

Crouch down then shoot the gunman. All of the guards in the area now start shooting at you, so remain crouched and prepare for another gunman rushing over from the other side of the roof and a few climbing onto the roof near the first guard. Work your way around the roof taking out guards on the nearby roofs then grab the sniper rifle on the corner, look over the edge pick and off the numerous goons down below.

Once the shooting ceases go through the rooftop door and down the staircase to ground level. Run around the area checking for any last guards hiding behind corners before you take out the vans. If any guards are left they may try to take one of the vans and escape and you’ll fail the mission.

Once the area is clear use any weapon you like to blow up the vans, but make sure you’re not caught in the blast when they explode.

A short while after the end of the mission the U.L. Paper guy will call you and force you straight into the next mission, so take out a few Flying Rats before the call.

Flying Rat #174
Head northwest around to the corner of Drebbel and Babbage Drive. There’s a pidgeon on top of the construction shed in front of Cluckin Bell.

Flying Rat #175
Continue northeast along Babbage Drive until just before the corner of Asahara Road. On the right side of the street there’s a big Cluckin Bell billboard, behind this there’s a wall. Behind the wall on the ground amongst some bushes is a pidgeon.

  • THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE
After the U.L. Paper guy’s call take a cab over to pick up Roman then another cab over to the airport. Walk into the marker to finally meet Darko Brevic. After the cut scene you have the choice whether to execute him or let him go. Either choice has no implications on the gameplay whatsoever, so do as you wish.

Flying Rat #176
Before you take Roman back to Brucie’s place go northeast to the huge control tower where the two runways converge. There’s a baggage truck just around the corner you can take there. Stop a fair distance west of the control tower so you are far enough back to be able to zoom in with your sniper rifle on the pidgeon on the top middle section of the tower.

Take Roman back to Brucie’s place to finish the mission.

  • UNIQUE STUNT JUMPS: BOHAN
Get a cab to Westdyke Autos in Alderney, steal an NRG 900, lose your wanted level, ride back to Bohan, then…

Unique Stunt Jump #34
Ride to the eastern end of Guantanemo Avenue. There’s a ramp by the water pointing southwest over to the corner of Beaumont Avenue and Windmill Street. Start your run up from the end of the alleyway to the northeast. try to hit the ramp at a diagonal angle so you don’t hit the support beams of the bridge as you land. You’ll complete the jump if you land on the corner of Beaumont Avenue and Windmill Street.

Unique Stunt Jumps #35-36
Ride east and up onto the unfinished bridge of the Northern Expressway. If you get your approach right there are two jumps in a row to complete here. Keep to the right until you cross the metal sheet covering the gap in the bridge, then turn left over to the other side of the bridge.

The first ramp is ahead on the right side of the bridge, but if you hit it in roughly a straight line from the left lane (allowing for a slight weave around the blocking median) you’ll land in the right position to carry straight on for the next ramp. You’ll complete this second jump if you make onto, or further than the roof of the building on Rocket Street.

That’s the eastern isles completed, now continue on into Algonquin.

  • FLYING RATS AND UNIQUE STUNT JUMPS: ALGONQUIN
    Flying Rat #177
Go south on Albany Avenue then east along Hematite Street, but stop before you go over the bridge into Charge Island. Turn north here, down the steps and under the freeway. There’s a pidgeon amongst a pile of trash a little way north, roughly level with the road above that you can see on the map.

Flying Rat #178
Get onto the southbound freeway then take the exit onto Garnet Street. Cut across to the other side of the street as soon as you reach the end of the off ramp then park up at the top of the stairs next to the road. Run down to the bottom of the stairs and climb over the loose metal fence under the bridge. Shoot the pidgeon here then head back for your bike.

Unique Stunt Jump #37
Head south to the corner of Emerald Street and Borlock Road. There’s an alleyway just past this intersection. Start your run up from the southern end of the alleyway and hit the ramp to land on Feldspar Street.

Unique Stunt Jump #38
Ride to the corner of Amethyst Street and Albany Avenue. At the end of the covered walkway in front of the building is a ramp leading east over South Parkway. Start your run up from the corner of Amethyst Street and Bismarck Avenue and you should get enough speed up to land before the water on Bus Lane.

Unique Stunt Jump #39
Go north to the corner of Diamond Street and Columbus Avenue. There’s a traffic barrier ramp at the memorial building to the west. Start your run up from the Broker Bridge gates to the east to get enough distance from the ramp to clear the other traffic barrier on the other side of the building.

This one can be quite tricky with so much traffic in the way, but any health you lose can be replenished at the hotdog vendor on the far side of the memorial.

Flying Rat #179
Go southwest to the southernmost of the five piers you can see on the map at the docks in Castle Gardens. There’s a pidgeon on the railings of the steps between the first and second pier.

Flying Rat #180
Head north to Garnet Street and ride up the stairs between Galveston and Frankfort Avenue. Ride through the barriers with enough speed to jump the gap, then go north along the tracks until you reach a building which was presumably once a train station. There’s a pidgeon on the ground here in the middle of the tracks.

Unique Stunt Jump #40
Carry on riding north to the end of the tracks. If you start your run up from the train station you should land far enough onto Union Drive West to complete the jump.

Unique Stunt Jump #41
Head east to Union Drive East Freeway. There’s a ramp pointing south between the medians roughly level with Pyrite Street to the west. Start your run up from under the pedestrian bridge to the north to land beyond the pedestrian bridge.

Unique Stunt Jump #42
Your final bike stunt jump in Algonquin is a tough one, so we advise parking your bike outside your downtown safehouse and saving your game before heading for this jump.

From the safehouse head to the entrance gates of the Liberty City Community Headquarters on Albany Avenue. Once you enter the grounds you’ll get a four-star wanted level, so watch out for police. Ride east then turn north under the covered walkway and up the staircase to the northeast.

Be particularly careful as you struggle to get your bike up the steep stairs, there are cops on these stairs, get busted here and you’ll lose all your ammo. Get off the bike briefly to take out nearby cops before you ride to the top. Go around the balcony then hit the balcony ramp slowly to land on top of the covered walkway. Go west across the walkway then turn north for your final run up to the jump. Lean forward on your run up to get enough speed up to land far enough into the grounds below. Continue north to the next ramp to escape the grounds. Good luck losing your wanted level. We always find crashing head first into a brick wall at high speed is the fastest way.

There are six more pidgeons on Happiness Island, but we’ll leave these until after the final mission for convenience, so we’re done with Algonquin for now.

  • FLYING RATS AND UNIQUE STUNT JUMPS: ALDERNEY
Get a cab to Westdyke Autos to steal another motorbike. Head north and lose your wanted level.

Unique Stunt Jump #43
Head to the corner of Cassiar Avenue and Big Horn Drive then into the back alley parking lot behind the deli store. There’s a ramp in the northwest corner. Start your run up from the eastern end of the parking lot to land on Beaverhead Avenue.

Flying Rat #181
Head east along Owl Creek Avenue. Go around the back of the mansion on the south side of the street opposite the intersection of Big Horn Drive. There’s a pidgeon on a column of the back steps off the east side of the mansion.

Unique Stunt Jump #44
A little way east on the corner of Beaverhead and Sacremento Avenue there’s a concrete driveway ramp by the house on the south side of the street. The ramp leads towards the backyards of several other houses to the south. Start your approach from way up Beaverhead Avenue to the north, just around the corner curving west. This should give you enough speed to reach the last backyard fence.

Unique Stunt Jump #45
Ride southeast to the corner of Franklin and Applewhite Street then head north along the beach. There’s a dirt ramp leading northwest across the small creek roughly level with the split in the dirt roads leading to the derelict mansion to the west. This jump only requires enough speed to clear the creek and land on the other side, so there’s no need for any big run up.

Flying Rat #182
Head north then turn back onto the dirt road and southwest to the corner of Myeung and Jonestown Avenue. There’s a pidgeon halfway down the wall of the building on the west side of the street.

Flying Rat #183
Head southeast to the corner of Babbage Drive and Odhner Avenue. Halfway along Odhner by the alleyway leading north there’s a wall. Shoot the pidgeon on the corner of the wall.

  • RANDOM CHARACTER: GRACIE
    Random Character: Gracie
Ride southwest to the end of Babbage Drive and you’ll see Gracie’s friend icon. Park up a little north of her then walk towards her to start this final random character mission. Not surprisingly she’s less than pleased to see you again and calls her bodyguards to take you out. Run south a little to escape their immediate shot range then turn around, crouch and pick them all off.

Flying Rat #184
Ride southeast to Latchkey Avenue and through the southern gates to Port Tudor. Go northeast to the end of the first pier. Climb up onto the shipping containers at the northeastern end of the pier and shoot the pidgeon on the top container.

Flying Rat #185
Head around to the next-but-one pier to the north (the one on the map showing four small warehouses along the road). There’s a pidgeon on a mooring on the northeast corner of the pier.

Flying Rat #186
Go southwest to the eCola factory just southeast of the Pay ‘n’ Spray. There’s a pidgeon next to a tree in the parking lot in front of the wall beside Roebuck Avenue.

Unique Stunt Jump #46
Ride south along the middle of the disused railway tracks. There’s a stunt jump at the dip in the tracks. You’ll complete the jump if you land in Latchkey Avenue.

Unique Stunt Jump #47
Go south to the ramp under the skyway bridge on Barsac Avenue. Ride to the top of the skyway off-ramp and start your run up from the median to the north. This should give you enough speed to clear the water and land the considerable distance to the other side.

Unique Stunt Jump #48
Go back to the previous ramp, go up the off-ramp, then head to the southern end of the skyway where the road turns west. Turn around at the next opportunity and start your run up to the next stunt jump, which is through the gap in the skyway wall blocked by barriers on the curve. Crash through the barriers and land on Grenadier Road below to complete the jump.

Flying Rat #187
Go northeast to the corner of Toggle Avenue and Grommet Street. Just south of here there’s a warehouse in front of the prison grounds. Climb the dumpsters in front of the warehouse to get to the pidgeon on the warehouse roof.

Flying Rat #188
Go east to the shoreline then south along the waterfront until you reach the half sunken boat rusting away on the shore. Climb onto the boat and shoot the pidgeon on top of the cabin.

Unique Stunt Jump #49
Head northwest to the start of the disused bridge on Plumbbob Avenue. You get get past the fence behind the junk by the eastern carriageway. Start your run up at the start of the western carriageway and jump of the end over Tinderbox Avenue and land on or near the rooftop of the building north of the street.

Flying Rat #189
Carry on along the end of the street where you landed. Jump up onto the construction cabin by the end of the street and shoot the pidgeon on the lowest level sloped roof of the warehouse to the north.

Flying Rat #190
Head northeast onto Hardtack Avenue then west to the Plumbers Skyway bridge. There’s a pidgeon on the far western point under the bridge on the north side of Hardtack Avenue.

Flying Rat #191
Get back on your bike and onto Plumbers Skyway. Go to the southwestern tip of the Skyway. You’ll pass a coned off break in the sidewall as the road turns east, this is your final stunt jump. Carry on to the next opportunity to turn around and stop to shoot the pidgeon on top of the median.

Unique Stunt Jump #50
Conveniently this median is also your starting point for the run up to the next jump. Hit the dirt ramp and land on the rooftop past the silos below.

Flying Rat #192
Go southwest to the waterfront in the corner of the pathway near a half sunken ship. There’s a pidgeon on the edge of the pathway near the corner.

Flying Rat #193
A little way north of the waterfront is a ruined shell of a building. There’s another pidgeon on top of a foundation wall inside the building.

  • ONE LAST THING
Head to Jimmy at Honkers to watch a cutscene that opens up two choices for the next mission. Once you leave Honkers you’ll have to choose one of them. The gameplay will then split into different sets of finale missions depending on your choice, revenge or deal.

Both sets of missions are great fun and really shouldn’t be missed, so unless you intend to replay the game again from start to finish to see the other finale, we suggest you stop off at your safehouse now to save your game. This will allow you to reload your game after the end of the first finale so you can experience the alternative end missions. If you are not wearing your suit you will have to visit your safehouse anyway to change for Roman’s wedding.

  • FINALE (REVENGE): A DISH SERVED COLD
If your first choice is ‘revenge’ or you’ve already done the deal finale and want to see this alternative ending, head over to the dagger icon in Dukes to start this mission. Take out the guards by the ship then go up the gangplank onto the ship and use the various boxes as cover to take out the numerous gunmen on the way to the bridge.

When you reach the bridge head up to the top, taking out everyone standing in your way. There’s a body armour pick up by the control panel.

Go back down to the deck, again watching out for yet more waves of guards, then head over to the cargo hold doors near the gangplank.

Drop down into the cargo hold then work your way around the containers taking out everyone until you finally reach Dimitri. Kill him and you’re done.

  • FINALE (DEAL): IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT
If your first choice is ‘deal’ or you’ve already done the revenge finale and want to see this alternative ending, head over to the ‘$’ icon to start this mission.

Drive Phil to the marker, then follow him to the warehouse roof. Drop down into the warehouse after Phil and work your way across to the money in the office on the far side of the warehouse. Needless to say there are numerous targets to eliminate along the way. Use any nearby cover and watch out for gunmen below you at the staircases. There’s a first aid kit by the boat in the middle of the warehouse and another in the office.

Once Phil breaks into the office the buyers will run to escape, follow Phil and chase after them. There’s a Rancher and a Sanchez just outside the warehouse, grab one of these and chase the buyers’ truck. Driveby shoot the truck until it stops then kill the driver and pick up the cash.

Take Phil back to the club to finish the mission.

  • FINALE (REVENGE AND DEAL): MR. & MRS. BELLIC
If you’re not already in your suit go to your safehouse and change.

Get to the marker at the church to watch the ceremony and the dramatic events afterwards, which will be different depending on whether you picked the ‘Deal’ or ‘Revenge’ route.

  • FINALE (REVENGE): OUT OF COMMISSION
Meet LJ at the marker then follow Pegorino’s goons’ car. It’s a long chase, so try not to smash your car up too much.

Flying Rat #194
Shoot the pidgeon in the underpass.

From the underpass by the casino take out the three men on the roof to the right and the two in range straight ahead from the cover of your car. Now crouch and creep forward until you’re in range of the gunman shooting from behind cover of the car ahead. Shoot at this guy and you’ll hit the car’s gas tank, taking out the guy nice and quickly. Creep across to the cover of the low wall to the left then take out the several guys hiding behind cars around the area. Watch out for the guy hiding in the big circular hole in the concrete at the back of the parking lot, if you hop over the wall before you get to the end he’ll start shooting at you and he’s very well covered from the ditch. If you creep to the end of the wall he’ll run from the ditch and shoot at you without cover.

Don’t go into the ruined casino building just yet. Stand just outside the door and pick off the two gunmen at the back of the building straight ahead and the one to the right. This guy’s very well covered, so picking him off with the sniper rifle may be an easier option, but make sure you leave yourself plenty of sniper bullets for the final five pidgeons. Now shuffle to the right of the door and take out the guy just inside to the left at the top of the stairs.

Go into the building, picking up the first aid kit on the wall to the left if you need it. Watch out for another guy just around the corner. Take this guy out then head through the doorway behind him to trigger a brief cut scene.

After the cut scene go up the stairwell to the roof, crouch, go through the door and quickly take out the men behind the door. Climb the sloped roof to the right and take out the men on the roof ahead, then go back down the way you came up. A few guys will now climb the ladder to get to you, pick them off before they get a chance to shoot you. If you’re low on health at this point go back downstairs and jump the gap in the broken stairs to the first aid pack on the wall. Now go back upstairs and resume your journey towards the marker.

Climb down the ladder ahead of you, take out the guys covered behind nearby boxes then head towards the marker. A car will pull up and two more goons will get out and shoot at you, take these two out then stand up ready to run.

As you approach the car Pegorino will take off in a boat on a jetty behind the car. You now need to sprint down the stairs, get on the motorbike and follow the shoreline to keep up with the boat. If you fall too far behind the boat you’ll fail the mission. Keep an eye on the map, it’s easy to ride too far inland and let the boat get away. Watch out for the creek you jumped earlier coming in the opposite direction, you need to be doing a reasonable speed to jump this. Just before you get to the bridge the ramp ahead will become highlighted. Jump this ramp for a spectacular cut scene of Niko catching onto LJ’s helicopter mid-jump. Follow the instructions to get into the helicopter.

You’re now the pilot of the helicopter, so catch up with the boat. It will fire rockets at you, but you should survive long enough for the next cut scene and land at Happiness Island.

From the pier run towards the marker, taking out Pegorino’s men shooting at you along the way. When you finally reach Pegorino shoot him. It’ll take a few shots to take him down, but when he does you’ll see the final cut scene of Niko’s vicious taunt before he finally finishes Pegorino off. The camera then pans up for a final view of the Statue of Happiness (the Statue of Liberty holding up a coffee rather than a torch).

That’s it, you’ve completed the main missions. Watch the closing credits if you wish. Just a few more pidgeons to go to get your 100% complete status.

  • FINALE (DEAL): A REVENGER’S TRAGEDY

If you’re low on health at this point go back downstairs and jump the gap in the broken stairs to the first aid pack on the wall. Now go back upstairs and resume your journey towards the marker. Climb the sloped roof to the right and watch the brief cut scene.

Climb into the nearby boat and chase after the helicopter. It will fire rockets at you, but they will most likely miss. Swerve if any appear to be on target.

When LJ turns up steer your boat into the marker and follow the instructions to pull Niko inside the helicopter.

You’re now the pilot of the helicopter. Ignore the instructions and fly as high as possible, but keep following Dimitri’s helicopter. His rockets will keep missing you until LJ hits Dimitri’s helicopter, at which point you’ll both crash land on Happiness Island.

Head towards the marker, taking out Dimitri’s guards shooting at you as you go. When you reach Dimitri shoot him. It’ll take a few shots, but he’ll drop soon enough.

Watch the final cut scene before Niko finally finishes Dimitri off. The camera then pans up for a final view of the Statue of Happiness (the Statue of Liberty holding up a coffee rather than a torch).

That’s it, you’ve now completed the main missions. Watch the closing credits if you wish. Just a few more pidgeons and activities to go to get your 100% complete status.

  • HAPPINESS ISLAND
    Flying Rat #195
Go up to the top floor at the base of the Statue of Happiness. The pidgeon is on the north side railings. Shooting it will get you a one-star wanted level. Don’t shoot any of the guards or you’ll raise your wanted level further, just run back to the pier to lose the one-star wanted level.

Flying Rat #196
Head back to the foundation level of the statue and go to the western corner of the wall. Use your sniper rifle to zoom in on the statue’s left hand. The pidgeon is between the thumb and index finger.

Flying Rat #197
Go to the next corner of the wall to the north. Zoom in on the statue’s left shoulder. The pidgeon is on the statue’s toga knot.

Flying Rat #198
Go to the northern corner of the wall. Zoom in on the statue’s forehead. The pidgeon is on the bottom edge of the crown.

Flying Rat #199
This pidgeon is on the statue’s right thumb.

Flying Rat #200
This pidgeon is on the top edge of the coffee cup in the statue’s right hand.
